Independent Living Skills:

Residents will do their own laundry, take part in meal planning and preparation, and will have cleaning responsibilities. They will take part in instructional opportunities at the school or onsite at the Hope House in such activities as learning budgeting, banking, insurance, etc.

Hope House Advisory Board Savings Plan for Levels 3, 4 & 5:

The Hope House (HH) Advisory Board will provide a cash supplemental savings plan for Level 3 Youth and above, who complete their programming at HH.  In order to receive the funding, they must be satisfactorily discharged from HH and cannot leave in disruption.  Youth who leave in disruption will have the funds forfeited back to the advisory board to help fund the account.  The purpose of this program is to help teach an Independent Living skills, help learn to manage money, learn to save money and support good behavior in the Level System at Hope House.  Youth who discharge at 18 will have a small nest egg to start their trip into adulthood.
