Initial Minimal Requirements
Minimal PROOF of HIGH SCHOOL EDCATION as required by state law.
CPR/First Aid: Have to have completed within 30 days of employment.
TB Skin Test: Have to have completed within 30 days of employment.
Physical: Have to have completed within 30 days of employment.
Managing Aggressive Behavior Training: You will be told what days your training is to be. If you are unable to attend training on the required days, you will not be allowed to continue employment and reach “FULL TIME TRAINED” status until training is completed.
EMPLOYEES
The Director/Intake-Case Coordinator will be on site to oversee the daily running of the home. Normal working hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and on-call for emergencies at all times except for vacation time. During this time, the Assistant Director will take call and any other time that is deemed necessary. All staff will be notified if Assistant Director is placed on-call.
The Assistant Director will work from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. This position is responsible for assisting the Director with administrative and intake duties and for assisting the Director with teaching the residents hygiene, nutrition, and group activities and other duties as assigned.
STAFF:
2 staff will work from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday-Sunday.
2 staff will work from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday-Sunday.
Overnight staff will work from 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Sunday-Saturday.
The staff ratio during awaken hours is seven boys to one staff (7: 1). During sleep hours, staff ratio is ten boys to one staff (1 0: I). During sleeping hours, the overnight staff is to have all alarms set and remain awake.
